As a locally owned, not-for-profit utility, Cuba City Light & Water works to support and enrich our community.
Student scholarships are one of the ways we give back. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on a combination of academic achievement, financial need, educational goals, community service activities, and application responses.
Eligibility guidelines
- High school senior may submit an essay to win a $500 scholarship. The student (or their parent or legal guardian) must be a customer of Cuba City Light and Water. Dependents of utility personnel are not eligible. Two scholarships are available.
- High school senior must plan to attend a two-year technical college or a four-year university.
- Essays should be on the theme: Our Community Connection: The Value of Our Municipal Utility. Essays should be between 500 and 1,000 words — typed and double-spaced.
Deadline is March 21.
